Which manual to purchase for Mercruiser 140

Good morning, I usually do work on vintage outboards but recently have stumbled upon a free runabout with a mercruiser 140 for free. I'm helping my dad rebuild it and am having a little difficulty finding the right repair manual to buy for the I/O. From what I have gathered it is a Mercruiser 140 01406002. The serial number on the valve cover sticker is 6045027 model mcm 140. The engine block has GM 2770087 embossed on the side. I'm not sure which manual number to purchase for this engine. Any help on which manual I need to buy would be much appreciated. When I ran that serial number on marine engine it gave me the parts diagrams for the mercruiser 140 01406002 (1982) the boat is

I like boat info but I still don't know what manual for the mercruiser 140. There seems to be a few for the 140s

either #3 or #10

look in both, should give a serial number/model number range for engines covered in each manual

Welcome.
For serial number 6045027 you need Service Manual #3 part no. 90-95693.
Make sure it has sections 1-8 included.
I think some editions were 2 volumes with sections 1-4 and 5-8.
