Which Manual?

I need a manual for my mothers boyfriend's Evinrude. It's a '77, 55hp outboard,(Model # 55773D). I noticed this sight sells two different manuals for this engine, a Seloc and a Clymer. I'm going to be taking the lower unit apart possibaly, and I need a manual that covers this in detail. Which is the better of the two? <br />Thank, <br />Shaffer

Hi, Shaffer.<br /><br />I have some of each.<br /><br />Seloc gives more detail and graphics, but the quality of the print, paper and binding are poor compared to my Clymers.<br /><br />If you can find an Evinrude Shop Manual you will have the best.<br /><br />Good luck.
