Which motor

Hi, I am new here but it looks like a great site.
I have just bought a 21 ft pontoon that has a Mercury motor on it. It says Tracker and is a 40 hp 4 cylinder 2 cycle, serial #OG252917. Whenever looking at parts for these motors, I can't find anything that says Tracker, they say other names (mariner, mercruiser, etc). Where can I find what the proper name for my motor is and also the serial # seems hard to find.
Another question, how do I know if my motor has a long shaft?

Hi,

It is the same as the Merc 4cyl 40 Hp. It is a long shaft.
They were built by Merc for Tracker Marine.com.
I don't think they put tracker decals on them anymore.
