What product do you use to pump the oil out of the dipstick tube when you change it?

I have a small "self priming" drill pump that doesn't seem to self prime at all and is temperamental when you do get it going so I need a better option.

The self priming attach to a drill pump works well for me but the oil must be warm and the hoses and drill direction right as the connections are not commonsense. The first time I didn't notice the direction of rotation arrow and burnt the pump. The Maine pro suction pump was a mess, the multiple hose adaptors were cheap and leaked all over. Any vacuum style pump should come with ONE dipstick sized hose from the pump intake. If the size adaptors don't leak when you use te pump, they will as soon as you move it.
