which oil for lower gearcase ?

1985 or '87 (not certain) Johnson Evinrude 30 Hp ...

My manual says to use OMC HI-VIS lubricant .... not sure if I can use SAE 90 or buy the SAE75 stuff ? Please advise.

second. sticker on the motor reads mixture 100:1 but the manual reads 50:1

which is it?

remove 100:1 sticker, recalled years ago. 80-90 wt outboard lower unit oil. walmart sells Super Tech brand, i use it.

I agree, with what Tashasdaddy just said. But for whatever it is worth, if you've ever gotten the OMC/BRP HiVis on your fingers and noticed the difference, you might consider going with it. Not that I always do, though. But I would with high horsepower engines.
