Which pontoon navigation lights needed?

I rebuilt the pontoon, new deck, carpet, etc. I know you need red/green side lights. There was a light already on the back of the bimini. Is there a way to tell if it is an all around light? Not sure if requirements are different for pontoon. Did find rules for boats. Thanks

If it can be seen from any direction it's an all around light. It's mounted on the bimini so it will be elevated above any obstructions on the boat that might prevent others from seeing it. So, as long as the globe allows 360 degree illumination, which it probably does, you're good to go. If you don't like the bimini mount you could always switch to a long stern mount style pole. My barge has the bimini mount. I'm not crazy about it, but it's fine. I usually just keep the globe and a couple extra bulbs handy in the dry box.
