depends on load. boat size weight. there are props for every situation. not a universal all around prop for any boat. the prop u need is one that allows motor to run at recomended wot rpms. this will ensure maximum motor life. i beleive those 25s like to see 5500rpm max

as stated it depends on the size style and weight of your boat

Look on the prop there should be a number on the barrel or under the prop nut.
Then tell us the length, approximate weight, style of boat.Your typical load and activities.Selecting a prop is like picking a single gear on a car to do everything.
Only on a boat if you pick the wrong size prop It won't perform right and if it can't operate within its designed rpm range it could develope premature mechanical problems.
There could be 4 or more sizes depending on the application.

Re: which prop do i need

If your trying not to be long winded; don't.
I think if you read the stickies at the top of the page you will have a better idea what we are trying to do.Tell us what you want the prop to do for your performance?
Props are measured in inches your 9 X 10 is a 9" diameter X 10" pitch.
When selecting a prop diameter simply follows the applicatipon and is not a primary consideration.Pitch is the determining demension.Lower numbers push a load better higher numbers go faster with less load ability. IF THE MOTOR CAN TURN THEM.
"13 or 14 lug"did you mean pitch? You definately don't want a 13 or 14" pitch on that boat.I believe stock prop was a 9 X 11. so it would seem your 9 X 10 is a step down (better load push)Without rpm and speed no way to know how good your setup is.
1. Is the boat deluxe with a floor, steering console etc or bare bones?
2 Typical load? do you hunt alone or with 3 200 pound guys and a dog?
3. How does it perform with the present prop?If you can't give us the present rpm and speed at least give us a guess at the speed and how good is the hole shot?
( acceleration)
You don't need a stainless prop ,very expensive with marginal improvement over
a good aluminum.Through hub prop has a tubular hub the exhaust passes through.
Non through hub is a smaller hub and has an exhaust snout above the prop.
Without any real info my guess is your present prop size is about right.
Is the prop in very good condition?
