Sup everyone. I bought a boat from my boss last year.
1991 Glastron Merc 3.0 135hp. Im trying to find the stock prop of that boat. I bought a smaller one to put on last year cause we did a lot of towing, but the top speed lacked. This year I put the prop that came with the boat which I think is a "19" that sound right? Anways I know he had gone through a few props in the past and IM trying to figure out what the best prop would be for us. I def felt a higher top speed with the original prop, but it just feels different. We did our first tubing and waterskiing with about 4 people in the boat and all seemed to be fine. RPMs were at 4k though. Does that sound about right and what props do you recommend for all around use.

THanks

Re: Which Prop is best

I have a boat that size with the same engine. Mine came with an aluminum 19. Years ago, I swapped to a stainless 19 of the same design. I like it. The boat gets on plan quickly and redlines at WOT right at the top of the recommended RPM range. I have never had a problem pulling single skiers or double tubers or double knee boarders.
