I have a 1998 Procraft Super Pro 200 20'6" boat. I am running a Mariner 200 EFI 1998 as well. The prop I have at this time is a trophy 24 pitch. The hole shot time is about 20 to 25 sec to get on pad. Boat runs fine until about 60mph, then picks up chine walk. The hub of this prop sits within a half inch of the foot and not even with it. Would a larger hub give me better hole shot more controll and lessen my RPMs?

What is the motor turning for top RPM's? A slight chime walk as the boat comes up on the pad is not unusual. Try raising the motor. That may help. Make sure you have dual cable steering and all the slack is out. Solid mounts on the Mercs seem to help also.

Good luck!
