I have a 21' K-Kraft V-Hull fiberglass boat, with 240HP OMC I/O. I have the following props, all 3 blade aluminum.

14 1/2 X 19
15 X 17
15 1/2 X 15

I was told when I bought the boat, one prop was for "power" (pulling skiers, etc) the others where for speed. I know nothing about these props. Can some one tell me what is what? I'd like to put the speed one on for general use and the "power" one on when I take the family out.

Well, that 15" prop should yank your teeth out, the 17 will let you run a bit faster I'd think, and of course the 19" is long in the legs. I'm sure you've got the power to spin a 19" prop and that is the one I'd be running most likely. That is unless you find dragging water skiers around to be your life's greatest joy, in which case bolt the 15" on there.

Thom

So you're saying the 19 is for speed? and the 15 for power like pulling skiers? Thanks for the quick reply.
