Hi, I just purchased a 1961 25 hp Gale Buccaneer, its missing the prop and the prop nut, as well as the sheer pin. All I have it the shaft out the bottom of the lower unit. Anyone have any idea what prop I need to get? Also I am looking for used parts if possible, I bought this motor for 30 bucks off of craigs list and don't want to put a lot of cash in it. Also need to find a fuel pump for it. Any help would be great! Thanks!

The motor is essentially the same as similar years Evinrude and Johnson motors. Most parts interchange.
However the E/J motors don't have a fuel pump.
You may find help and parts at www.aomci.org.
New and used parts are readily available on the net, ebay has worked well for me.
The base prop is a 103/8" X 12 1/2".Your prop would depend on what boat you put it on. Many routine parts are readily available new some right here at iboats.
Before any work check the compression 100 lbs is excellent it will run with less and improving compression may not require a rebuild. If the coils haven't been changed they will need it You may be able to inspect through a window in the flywheel.
Drain the gear case and note the condition of the lube. You'll need a new impeller.

Thanks for the reply! As for the boat I am putting the motor on, its a 14' fiberglass semi-tri hull not sure of the make, but a friend of mine thinks it looks like a Tuffy. The link you posted is for a paid site and is not in my budget, but I will keep looking.

I'm pretty sure you can register though I haven't tried.
I looked briefly and didn't see anyway to pay nor the amount I'm sure there is a fee
and folks can join but not necessary for some features.
There is a webvertise you can use I believe both to sell and buy.
Many of the venders on ebay list parts by number and say what they fit.
I bought a prop 2 coils, and an impeller For my 55 5hp Buccaneer.
If you look here at iboats for ignition, carb and cooling parts for similar E/J motors you will find what you need.
You may note that some parts fit many sizes and years over a vast array.
