Hello to all. I bought a good running 135 Johnson without a prop. I am running it on a 16ft ebbtide dynatrac fish and ski. What are your ideas on what pitch prop I should use. I will be using it mostly for fishing but, occasionally pull a tube.

Without the year of boat and motor;
seat of the pants guress if it has a dry weight of about 1,000 a 19"
pitch should work.Put you close to 6,000. May be a little light but your better off than too much prop.Just stay below 6,000.

The boat is a 1983 Ebbtide Dyna trac.156 Fish / Ski. the engine is a 1973 135 Johnson. The boat is pretty heavy because of all the glass in the windshield. Thank Lee

The 19p is a good starting place.
That old Johnny is gonna be heavy on the back of that.
