I have a 2004 Rinker 192 Captiva, 5.0L 220hp, alpha one with 1.62 gears. Right now I am running a 17p aluminum prop and the boat will hit 5,000 RPM and about 47mph or so.

I am looking at the Lexor 15 1/2" 17p prop to put on. We do a lot of wakeboarding with this boat and when we have more than 3 people and try to pull a wakeboarder it takes forever to plane out. Should I go down the 15p prop to get a better holeshot or will the cupping and surface area of the Lexor make that much of a difference?

I don't typically drive the boat over 35 anyway so top end isn't a huge concern.

One other thing, I am in the Denver area so I have 5200' of altitude that robs a lot of my horsepower.

From what I've read on here this Lexor looks to be a great prop but I am open to other suggestions.

Thanks!
Tim
