Which tach will work on my 1976 75hp

I have a 1976 75hp Johnson Stinger 3 cylinder. I have the gray pulse wire in the control box. I'm assuming a 3 wire tach, with +, - and pulse leads is what I need. When I research tachs on this website and other's, they never show pictures of the backs and how they are wired. I hooked up an automotive multimeter with a setting for a 3 cylinder to my motor, but there was too much interference to get any reading.
I want a tach I can dash mount. I don't want a tinytach. Basspro shops sells some Faria's and Teleflex's, so I may go down there and physically look at them, since their website gives no info.

Can someone direct me to something that will work?

Faria's and Teleflex's marine alternator tach will work for you.

Pulse (grey) and ground are all that's needed. Purple (switched 12VDC) to the lamp illumination terminal if internally iluminated.
