Which torque spec for 1986 xr2 150?

heres my prob, I have 2 manuals and one says to torque my head bolts to 30 ft. lbs the other says go to 40 ft. lbs. which one is correct my serial # is B129824 and its a 1986 150 xr2. any Ideas?

split the difference and go 35 it wont hurt anything
