3849411 - is the 3-wire replacement part number
3594989 - is the 2-wire replacement part number

I saw an old post that said either of the above will work if my guage is analog. Is that true? I'd like to buy which ever one is cheaper if it does not matter.

I also saw an old post that referenced a PDF that explain how to install, hook up wires (which of the three wires to ignore) and adjust. Does anyone know where to find that PDF?

Here is my engine info:
Model – 5.0 GI PBYCCE
Serial Number – 4110164182

Thanks much for your help

Hi there, while I have seen in the past some drive models would accept either one, it is best to stay with whatever style you have because there are some models that require the proper sending unit. Since you didn't mention what drive model you have for us to help find out what style you really need, the quickest way for you to know what type of sending unit you'd need is to "if possible" look at the trim sending unit on the outside of the boat and count the wires.

If the boat's not accessible then let us know the drive model and we should be able to help find the correct trim sender for you.:)

Thanks and good luck.:)
