Please post a reply to this post if you think you have a good chance at attending Spinner_bait Nut's first annual iboats' get together. We will use this as the master list to judge interest by everyone. Info about what/where people are suggesting can be found by Clicking here.<br /><br />Let me be the first to say that I will be there and will bring some door prizes. I don't want to steal anyone's thunder but I am also volunteering to help plan in any way such as negotiating with a resort, planning activities, etc.

Put me down for the gathering, it sounds like a great time. I haven't posted a lot but spend a lot of time on the board. I have learned a lot from these people.<br />Hey JB, are you going to traveling near KY any this year? If so you should check out Cave Run Lake here in North Central KY. The lake has some awesome musky fishing. A lot of 48"-52" fish are caught every year. If you would like to try it sometime let me know. I can show you around the lake.

my heart is definitely into it. my chances are about 50/50 right now... i'm on a tight budget, vacation time has to be arranged, time away from home has to be considered, you know how it is. (gonfishin put it well) <br /><br />i would not be driving towing vehicle, so no boat. if chances look better into the summer, i will probably check out carpooling also.<br /><br />but i'm still 'researching' the possibility. i know i'd hate to miss it

Sure would like to attend, but with some fishing trips booked and a summer road run planed, no time left to make the trip. The way things are any more it seems you have to plan very far in advance to travel. Maybe next get together.

I'd say my chances of making it are 50/50 as well..<br /><br />I know it sounds weird, but it's hard for me to make plans that far in advance... Probably won't know for sure untill a few weeks before.. I'm self employed and like the saying goes "gotta make hay while the sun shines".. Might be too busy, might be dead slow... Hard to say..

You do know how big that lake is right? Any ideas what town or what part of the lake this is gonna take place?

You might as well get an info pack together that can be mailed to us if we want to come the pack should include, maps, phone numbers, address(s) both snail and email, iboats phone numbers, list of all hotels and resorts in the area, list of banks, list of hospitals (just incase I come!!), and a map of local waterways, info on launch ramps, and info on fishing licenses? It should also have info about other things to do in the state? !

Yo Sloop....A real Shoafin only needs a compass,the moon and stars for guidance. Since it will be only a few days, fishn and visiting friends will take up most of our time. I'm taking the better half on vacation early so I don't have to do all that honeydo stuff. But your right some info would help. SB gots all news on this........

It's looking like a 40%Chance, if held mid country somewhere, 100% chance if South east,<br />0% if west coast. I don't do the west coast no mo.

Whoops!!!! <br /><br />How about I gather up some info and post it on this thread and that way everyone can see it and look at what I have in mind.<br /><br />I know it's a big lake, the biggest in Mo. and that is why I will try to find the best place possible, as far as location, etc. for us.<br /><br />Keep watching.<br /><br />Admin5, I will let you know on some places and maybe you can call them or write them and discuss maybe a discount price for our group for certain things.<br /><br />Give me a vote on where everyone wants to stay.<br />In a resort or motel?<br /><br />That way I know what to look for more.<br /><br />Thanks for your participation in this. I think it will be a blast.<br /><br />For those that can't make it this time, maybe next time we will have one closer to where you live.<br /><br />Can't please everyone, and that is why I chose LOA.<br /><br />Kinda mid country.
