who knows what voltages i should be getting on a johnson 100 hp v4 1967

Hi guys just wanted to know what kind of voltages should be getting to my selectric shift box on the two wires running down ones for reverse i think and the other is forward, as mine has fluctuating voltages when i swith the polarity

It should be battery voltage.
