who makes the best manual seloc or clymer

I bought a 1985 ebko with a 3.0 omc stern drive select drive. My awsome mech. said i needed to rewire the whole thing and i really want to do it right so i,m hoping with good manual i can thank's

I have a seloc for my omc and a clymer for my Suburban. I like the seloc better. It may be comparing apples to oranges but the seloc seems to not assume that you know as much as the clymer does.

The factory manuals are better than both of them. I would look to e-bay to see if you can get one. New or used.
