Oh it's a proven fact it messes with peoples heads. Considering the concept was invented by Benjamin Franklin a couple hundred yrs ago, to conserve candles. I'm thinkin mebbe it's "time" we did away with it ...?

If you ask todays average idiot what daylight saving time is about many will reply, "To help the farmers?" I'm not kidding, try it you'll see.

Heh heh heh. Ya I'm self employed too & in my particular case the weather dictates my workload. Not necessarily what time of the day somebody says it is?

Just recently heard that daylight savings time is like cutting the top six inches off a blanket and sewing it on the bottom to make the blanket longer.

The farther north you get the shorter the day, at least the guys in Florida and the very southern states don't get such a swing in the amount of daylight.

Could be worse though, your home could be in the shaddow of a mountain for 4 months of the year like an old friend of mine, the only sun on his property is 1500 yards away at the bottom of a field.

Where I used to work at,had a underground mine. We worked 12 hour shifts, them miners would literally go days without seeing any sunlight.

Good one! I still would rather keep the 6" on the top............ I hate it when it eventually gets dark around 4:30. It's by 5:20 now...:(
