US intelligence confirms reports that Syria to the west is supplying and assisting the Iraqi resistance.Syrias leader ,Who by the way is not an elected official, states to the UN that since they feel that they may be next in line for a US house cleaning that it is in Syrias interests to get involved as soon as possible.

On another note ,the Iraqi military minister along with his obviously not too swift constituants insist that the US forces are purposely inflicting casualties on the Iraqi civilians, specifically refering to an explosion that occured yesterday in a civilian area which Iraq claims killed 14.Do they think that we are retarted as they are or what?Iraq has murdered 10 times that many of its own civilian population since the onset of this conflict who were either retreating or resisting to fight with their regime. In light of that,I seriously doubt if Iraqs leaders give a rats ass how many of their civilians have been killed by colateral damage or otherwise.A pathetic attempt at war time propaganda.
The scum suckers also executed the two British prisoners that were mentioned in yesterdays captured coalition forces.

The longer this war goes on ,the more understandable it becomes to all except the deaf eared weaklings of society, that it is impairative to crush the moralless oppression and deep seeded jealousy and hate that has become the embodiment of the regions sentiment.

Regardless of what political interpretation that future history will define this war as , Let it never be forgotten that The U.S. intent was one of removing a murderous dictator from power and that our American troops served and died bravely for a just cause.I can't begin to describe the pride and awe that I feel for these soldiers. They have truly risen to the occassion and should be regarded as unselfish heroes.

God Bless America.And he does.

ob, although a navy officer and fully supportive of the war and what you say, i've decided not to listen to any reports or news of this war, especially the side stories. unless we were personally there, we simply don't know the facts or what is really going on, and just what we read in the papers or see on the news. i'm tired of the side stories, and just want to know when its over. i'll read the books and talk to my friends/classmates that fought on the ground and dropped bombs from carriers, and then decide what really happened. take care-

Matt,While I agree that some of the media reports should be scrutinized,I tend to trust the ones that come from credible sources ,such as Cent/Com.and soldiers on the battlefield that are experiencing some of these attrocities first hand. After all if you can't believe our administrators and leadership we lose our unity.I on the other hand ,I am going to aquire as much information as I can on the event as I feel it is my civic duty, not only as an American but as a Veteran. The only decietful information that is leaking through the media is that from the opposition.Trust me on this one.

Well it's just like the three young men that were on TV this morning doing that interview from the hospital.

They said that they had captured some pow's that were dressed in civvies and underneath they had on uniforms.

I believed them.

A lot of propaganda going on for sure, but I think that when the soldier on the ground says something, you can take it to the bank.

They are out there fighting for their lives and they don't think about not telling the truth.

This morning I went with radio for the first time. I could not stand the looks and spin from any of the big 3 network morning anchors.

The media seem determined to dramatize this conflict and stir negative emotions as much as possible.

They seem preoccupied with things that they can portray as things that "went wrong" or "surprized" out military leaders, things that their hired "analysts" think are being done wrong, and things that they can get women and wimps to cry about.

War is terrible. Your enemy will do what they think will surprize you and disrupt your strategy. You train to recognize and respond to what they do, as well as force them to react to what you do.

Our people are doing a superb job, superbly led and superbly executed.

People will be captured and people will die, including some civilians. That is war. It will take as long as it takes. That, too, is war.

These people are obscuring the campaign with their nit-picking micro-coverage. In the big picture it is irrelevant that some retired star would do something differently or would want more people.

It is the mission of the media to report what happens, not to critique it or to manufacture drama.

The media is failing miserably.

Thats what I get too JB. I might have to get cable for fox news. If you want to see the intellectual presentation of just how badly the war is going, watch Charlie Rose. These people are just certain that were done for. I'm looking fwd to the crow eating they will have to do as this thing unfolds in the coming years.
