Why does the water out of my pee old run great until I take off and come to a stop?

I am new to this so bear with me. I have a 1989 65 hp Suzuki outboard. I have had problems with the water coming out of my pee hole. It will work great when I first get to the lake and start it up. But as I am going across the water, it appears as if it is losing pressure and then when I stop and idle, it trickles out. The impeller just got replaced a month ago and still having the same problem. The professional looking at it says that he can't find anything. Anyone else have a problem like this and what was the solution. Thanks.

Is the motor running normally? No warning horn or other indication of over temperature? If so, I don't think you have a problemo.

It just did but very quietly. I brought it back in and they said it was faulty. The alarm was going off even when the key was turned half way, just before I would start the motor.
