It's just me on the boat and no baggage, except that I have dual batteries on the port side. Why is the boat always leaning to the left? Not really much but with experience you can see it. I there something wrong with the power trim?
Re: Why is it leaning on port side while on plane?
That would be the prop. torque tipping your boat side ways as it rotates around. A weight issue will show up when you are just floating with no power. prop. torque shows only at full throttle. That's why twin engines are counter rotating to offset that. And also one reason why they make the Duo-prop set up with two prop's on one shaft that counter rotate (another is the great benefit of running that 2nd prop. in the rotating water stream of the 1st prop.

I had the same problem on my 24' deep v i/o. I got tired of moving passengers around the boat to correct the problem so I bought a set of bennett trim tabs and I haven't had a problem since. They were very easy to install once you get past the fear of drilling holes in your boat below the waterline!
Re: Why is it leaning on port side while on plane?
Propeller spin is causing this - very interesting and makes sense! So there's nothing wrong with my hull structure! The boat is completely aligned and straight when docked.I also have to constantly remind and watch people where they are but they generally like standing or sitting by the port (maybe to avoid my rear.) Thanks so much and Boat in Peace.
