this is cut and pasted from the mechanic that originally did the tests. how can we get more power. wot only 3800 rpm with 2
adults and around 3500 with 5 adults
______________________-
Our technicians performed a compression check on 4/23/04 and found the following #1 cylinder 145lbs #2 125lbs #3 135lbs #4 145lbs.

Your mechanic is correct to recommend a conversion to electronic ignition it is trouble free, however in my experience a simple yearly inspection of a conventional ignition system prevents most issues and they are fairly trouble free.

Using an additive like restore does have the desired effect and given the realitively good compression I'm certain it would bump up the compresssion several pounds, how ever I doubt you would notice any performance.

He wasnt sure on the condensor in the dist and he did not do a recheck once
he reset the timing so im not sure. He did suggest to switch to electronic
ignition distributor

so what do we do next or check next to get the performance
