Will 1.68 DPSM work for a VP 5.0/5.7 Engine?

I'm needing a replacement outdrive for my VP 5.7 and I'm curious if this 1.68 ratio will work with my engine properly. It was paired with a VP 7.4 Gi prior.

What props are on your boat now?

How big is your boat?

You may be able to prop down enough, however I would look for the correct lower such as dropping from F6 to F3
