Will 1975 70hp power pack fit a 1978?

I'm looking for a PP for a 1978 70 Johnson I picked up. I found a 1975 used PP on ebay, but I need to make sure it's compatible.

I checked part #s on marineengine and OEM part numbers are different between the 2, but the CDI number is the same.

Will the '75 fit my '78?

I didn't look at the CDI parts #'s listed (cdi rules fyi) but the sierra has different numbers, they are not the same from what I can see.

you can make it fit its only the mounting holes that are different 1975 has 3 mounting holes 1 center top & 2 bottom , 1978 4 mounting holes 2 top & 2 bottom , i would use the 2 bottom holes on the 1978
