Will 1977 carbs work on my 1978 Evinrude 70 hp

I have a 1978 Evinrude 70 hp outboard. I need a middle carburetor but the closest I find are 1977 carbs. Are they the same carburetor? Can I use the 77 carburetors on my 78 motor? Thanks

Maybe, but a line by line comparison in the parts book is what I would recommend

As a set. I would not replace just one carb as there may be some internal differences.
