Will a 1994 Johnson 30 H.P. Motor fit a 40H.P. trim & Tilt.

I have a 1996 40H.P. Johnson on my pontoon but it broke,so I need to see if a 30 H.P. will fit the power trim and tilt.

TNT from a 96 40 wont fit on a 94 30. The transom mounting brackets and steering tubes are completely different.
