Will a 9.9 hp prop work on a johnson 8

I want to use this prop on my 8.0 hp 1993 2 stroke johnson motor
it says 9.9 and up for 2 stroke motors
and 8.0 4 stroke motors and up

really goes by how many teeth are on your prop shaft. how many do you have

If you look them up on the prop store page as near as I can tell none
interchange.
