will not drain !

I have a 1996 2320 Center Console Robalo and can't get the water to drain from the forward compartments to the outside. When I apply water pressure into the drain water will come out to the outside. It stops draining after a couple of minutes. I have tried Drano, sticking wire to unplug and nothing seems to work. I wonder if somebody has had the same problem. Is there a check valve there and has gone bad ? When I apply water pressure from the outside to the inside water goes in but doesn't come out! Where could I get a diagram of the hoses and conections of these drains. Help !!!!!!

Have you tried to contact the manufacturer??.. They are usualy very willing to provide info..

I don't know about the Robalo but some manufacturers have a pump to empty these areas and they can get clogged up. Also most will have inspection plates (usually large round disks) that allow you to access the hoses underneath. My 23' Wellcraft CC also has valves which can be closed.
