WILL THIS BE EXPENSIVE???

I am considering buying a 1986 19' cobia bowrider(my first boat). The current owner says it needs a new boot, and that after it has run for approx 30-45 minutes the engine bogs down. After letting it cool it will then run normal again till it heats up and then bogs down again. does anyone know what this could be and whether or not it would be expensive to fix?

First boat dont buy one with problems. Stay away from projects. Try to get a boat you can use right away without a lot of fooling around<br />and wasted time.You need to find out what its like to boat not what its like to fix a boat.<br /> Nuf said.

Unless your a mechanic that likes to putter with things like this......NO, not for your first boating experince.
