will this gear case fit an 08 etec? standard v6 lower unit

Found a great deal.. but i need to find a good deal on a gear case.

any ideas? 1500$ for a running 150 etec without lower unit :/ any ideas?

Yes i can read, quite often parts work in different years and year range / part number is listed for direct placement.

for example a head may say its not good for a certain year because the plug is different but the bolt pattern is the same.

or a water jacket is blocked.

I thought the intelligent would realize this. but i should have figured someone would say "learn to read"

Had you bothered to even look up any of the information yourself then you would have known that it would not fit.......even the intelligent can do a simple web search and find that info!!!!!

If you were to buy from Ebay, which is where that craigslist ad redirects to and your model was not listed in the compatibility chart, then no matter what happens they can refuse to honor any warranty and you are stuck with it.
