willl it interchange

i bought a charging,ignition,harness online. it has a stator#398-9873-a3 i know the trigger will work and the switch boxes. the stator that came off my power head is a #3975454-a34 wil they interchange thanks to all

well may i didn't give everyone enough info,a 78 black max with a red flywheel that had no spark on 5 and 6 the encapsultion was melted out of the boxes on the bottom of both and the trigger too. so i found a charging system off a 90 150 xr4 II magnum put the boxes and trigger in and fixed my spark problem and using my stator #398-5454-a34. the parts off the rx4 have a stator that looks the same except the two pick up's at the back are closer togather #398-9873-a3 will they interchange or what is difference one a 9amp the other a 16amp or a 40amp the 398-9873-a3 has the same wires as the other i just dont want to melt anything down!!!!! tryed to send pic it said they were to big any help will help the boat runs great on the muffs and will empty the barrel in gear and i hammer it just want to know if i can use the 9873-a3 as a back up!

Kind of hard to tell what the difference between the two really is from the website, they both fit V6's. If by chance no one else can help with this question, your next best bet would be to call CDI to see if they can help. They know their stuff well.
