I'm trying to figure out what works for the wind guides on my pontoon trailor. They are 8 or so feet long and located around the axles but they were made and positioned for a twin-toon. Since I added the center pontoon I've had trouble loading the boat almost every time. What concerns me the most is if I'm sideways at all in a wind I can run up on them because all of the toons have lifting strakes and the boat does not "find" the natural spot to land. At this point I'm leaning towards cutting them off and learning how to load it without them.
My boat is 22 feet on the deck and 23 feet on the outer toons
Does anyone have wind guides for a tri-toon with strakes on all three toons that works well?
If so, where are they located, how high are they and how are they configured?
Thanks
