window tinting

Has anyone tinted your tahoe front windshield? I'd like to see what it looks like on a tahoe, post some pics....

I`ve been thinking about doing mine myself. Sometimes it`s hard to see thru the glare, and there`s alot of heat that comes thru the windshield.

I have not...but it does sound interesting! Even with a light shade of tint it would definitely cut down on the glare! Hmmmmm.....I looked it up and found another thread here about tinting:

I can't see that tinting your Tahoe will reduce the heat my friend.

The right shade of tint will look good though.

I did it on my old boat and it worked great. The hard part is the curved portion of the glass. I would get the same type of window tint that you would use on car/truck windows.
