Hi
I own a Sunray tri hull 14' bowrider that is likely older than me (1975) I am doing some work on it and I need to fix the cover, my problem is the snaps are now loose and while driving the cover unclips at the windshield.
Usually an easy fix but the clips are 2 inches and I can't find any anywhere, I went to my local marine store here in Ottawa, the chandlery, and the sales rep never saw any and can't find a supplier..
I am thinking, can I just remove the clips, drill out the snap and rivet a new one is?
Does removing the clip damage it?
Worse case I'll change the snaps on the cover and hope that fixes the issue
Thanks
