I have a '72 runabout with a cracked plexiglass windshield. How can I repair this damage? I read in the archives that acetone from a hypodermic works well, but I live on the east coast and hypodermics are not easy to come by (legally). Any suggestions? Are there any commercial products out there that will do the trick? If so, where might I find them?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
<br /><br />The problem with a syringe is that most of them are plastic, and will dissolve.<br /><br />I wouold try an auto glass repair shop. They have a vacume unit that is used to suck the solution into the crack from the backside.
