Windshield Hinge

[I'm looking for the windshield hinges for a curved 1 pice windshield like the ones that came on Flying Scott boats in the early 60's. I think there were other boats with this option, but Scott is the only one I know of. I'm going to try and post pictures.

HEY ,uncle_bud I HAVE SEEN THAT BOAT .I HAVE ONE JUST LIKE IT -62- ARE YOU THE OWNER? I NEED SOME INFO. ON IT. [WHAT A GREAT LOOKING BOAT ]I AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING TWO MORE FOR PARTS AND RESTORE.

Not my boat, I found this on billscars.com There are more pictures there it is a really sharp looking boat. I'm looking for the window frame and/or hinges.

I imagine with the old age.....you might have to have a set custom made at a machine shop then get them chromed OR weigh out the cost of having them made in stainless instead of the chrome.

I seriously doubt you will find a replacement or an equal........ looks like a specialty item

I think your right, it's a long shot but if I had pictures of one I think I might be able to fabracate a couple.

Would like to put them on a Glasspar Avlon, don't know if it will work but would like to try.

Hey u.bud the two boats i was waiting to get,turned out to be a dead end. I'am sorry for the both of us,but i will keep up the search; i need the correct steering wheel,shift panel for [1962 royal scott deluxe 15 ]and the [ scott name plate ] that goes on the [ boat trailer ] somebody painted over it . Also looking for a spare [1962 royal scott 43.7 custom o/b] hopefully we will find the parts we need -----till next time.

hey uncle-bud i found the hinges you were looking for [maybe ] you can go to tom's cheap old boats web site they have pic's ,look in inventory or call [ph. #405-255-1602 ]they are on a 1962 dorsett bellmont parts boat, i hope they will work for you --GOOD LUCK--

62 Royal Scott, that is what I'm looking for, thanks. I also found out that the Pacific Mariner Scimitar from the early 60's had the hinged windshield.
