Re: Windshield removal and adjustment
I'm attempting a repair on my older Striper: the windshield was made by TaylorMade, and numerous phone calls and emails got nada....

On mine, the top frame pulled away from the windshield glass. Removal was easy: just a couple of screws to take the frame apart, and a little tugging...but putting it back was hard. I finally went down to a local glass shop and asked their advise. They recommended a spray silicone lubricant on everything, and once I did that, it slipped into place. Hope it stays there.

I haven't looked at your site long enough to see if you've replaced the missing glass, but when you do, measure carefully, and be sure to order tempered glass. It doesn't have to be OEM: any glass shop can temper any size you order. But tempered glass is much stronger and, of course, much safer. But you already knew that, of course.
