As the title suggests I have a harmonic noise best described as a wet finger traveling around the top of a wine glass emitting from the newly installed Michigan Wheel 4 bladed props. Funny thing is it goes away above 1500 RPM and most noticeable at 800-1000 RPM and on both engines. Anything I can do other than go back to 3 bladers? I love the docking maneuverability and quick to plane feature of the 4 bladers though.

Prop song if it is the propeller.... Though typically I've only ever had it on straight shafts. It does go away on its own after running some or you can take the props to a shop and they can tune them and get rid of it. (again if that actually is the problem.)

Decades ago I gave up on Michigan props. I would not know who is top quality now.

Been using them for decades, never an issue, but other brands have been a crap shoot. Then again, as don't use fancy props just std ones.
