Winter blues? Not here!

Without trying to rub it in too much, my daughter and I went out today for a little trout fishing. Perfect day! Light wind, seas 1-2' (if that), and sunshine.

She caught her first trout (2 silvers, 1 speckled/spotted), and a huge crab that let go just as she pulled it out of the water. These were her first fish, and she's hooked! She was even baiting her own hooks, and casting herself. I now have a full-time fishing partner. She had a blast, and I had a blast watching her have a blast!

We both got sunburned pretty good, too.

My friend you have a lovely young lady there, Looks like you both enjoyed a nice day fishing together and it doesn't get any better then that!

As for not trying to rub it in about the weather....Tuesday its going to be -17 degrees and you sir can eat my shorts!
