might be helpful to folks to list some things that<br />can be done over the off season to minimize any<br />problems in the spring.<br />I'll start it off... <br />1)turn the steering at least once a month to keep<br />it freed up.

If possible, crank engine a few revolutions once a month, either by hand or with starter.

make sure motor in full down position so all<br />water drains out...

Check under the cover for rodents and other varmits once in a while. Also, a habit I've gotton into is squeezing the primer bulb up firm to get some fresh fuel in the bowls once a month or so.

Check the tire pressure over the winter. They do lose as the temps go down.

ditto on squeezin primer monthly :) <br />minimizes varnish in bowls...

*block up trailer just off ground takes pressure off tires.<br />*pull all drain plugs<br />*depth finder and trolling motor stored in garage<br />*life jackets stowed in garage prevents mildew and spider homes<br />*outboard totally wrapped in plastic<br />*ball hitch coupling well lubed<br />*

go fishing bout once every 2 weeks with it. Thats what I do.
