I'm going to modify the bow on my 1994 Trophy 2352 w/a. I would like to turn it into a fish around type boat, very similar to a Dusky 233 FAC. When fighting kings, bottom fishing, or anchoring it would be nice to be able to use the front of the boat safely. We never sleep on the boat and the cabin gets used for storage only. I will still basically have the same amount of storage room with the exception of cabin ceiling height (lower). From the cockpit there is a step up to the side walkways leading to the front. I'm thinking I will cut away the raised portion of the cabin even with the walkway floor, then have a step down to an open area. There will be a wide seat (for 2) in front of the windshield and the existing walkway channel can serve as seating around the perimeter also. I will 4200/glass in pvc drains that lead to the cockpit so the occastional wave over the bow still drains out the scuppers. Whatcha think?
