Hi gang,

Been reading about winterizing,

In summary I need to,

change lower unit oil.

change crankcase oil and add crankcase storage additive (what type?), run on muffs for 10 min.

fog EFI. (not sure how to do this? do I just fog the throttle bodies?)

I run marine stabil in my fuel always. Do I need to run the pink stabil through by fuel system also? ( both types of stabil for storage? )

Should I run the engine with disconnected fuel line, after above is completed until it dies?

Also, this Yammy only has 4 hours on it. Is all this still necessary?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Winterize 2008 F150 4-stroke

with only 4 hours I would check the gear oil for the presence of water, as for fogging we use a remote tank mixed in accordance with the tech bullitens from both volvo and mercruiser.
DonS can provide them quicker than I.
dont try the running out of fuel trick, wont work and may make things worse.
