A friend knows I Winterize my boat and asked me to visit him while he does his 4.3L. Primarily for the motor (which he is interested in most), I am going to have him stabilize the fuel, run it with the water muffs, poor some 20w oil down the carb till it stalls and then drain the block using the petcocks. Am not totally familiar with this motor. Are there 4 petcocks like on it's bigger brother, the 5.7L? Should he disconnect any other hoses to drain water? Fluid and filter changes he may have done already. I am telling him to store with lower unit down as well.

Anything else or other opinions?

Thanks!
