You MUST be single if that's the longest list you can come up with! :D The guys on here will punish you for complaining by sending their wives to your location with a "honey demand" list of things to occupy your time! I am so glad I always have a car or truck to "work" on when the wife starts mumbling "we are spending all weekend cleaning this house!" Your methods may vary...:p

If you have that much time on your hands, find some where to volunteer.....'tis the season ;)

Due to leave overages at work, I will have only worked 6 days from the week before Thanksgiving until Jan. 1....I've been pretty bored most of it.

Re: Winterized, shopping done, now what?

I have been thinking about this post.
My life is so different to yours.
After reading it last night, we were out sitting on the grass under the mango tree in the cool, playing fetch with the dogs (well the dogs do the fetching actually), and I mentioned the topic to the wife.

We came to the conclusion that we envy your 4 definite seasons, especially autumn and all its colours, then spring with blossom, then the nice humidity-free long summer days. (we don't get twilights and the humidity becomes oppressive).

As for your winter, we could never live in the cold like you have. Never.

I watched Stephen Fry in America and this week he traveled up the Mississippi to Detroit, in his English Taxi, in the winter.
Wow!! in one city the guy he was with said you see nobody, as they are all indoors, and pass between buildings in Skywalks, and hey, he went ice fishing in Wi, and the guy that took him had a Aqua-Vu for goodness sake!! I mean, what do they say, 'only in America'. Great show. i enjoyed it, but not sure about being there in the cold.

Our winter is the best time of the year.
What we do enjoy are the pictures sometimes posted of your autumn and it's colours.

Sorry for rambling.
Cheers
Phillip

I do love our four seasons. Today with 12" of snow..not so much. But it does make for a beautiful holiday season!

I love the four seasons just the same way as I love a root canal. Winter should start on December 21 and end on December 31.

I too am bored as can be during the winter.....but I do mark the calendar as each day passes, don't do that in the summer
