1982 renken Does water stay in the lower unit, or just the engine. Does the impeller in the lower unit draw water thru engine or does it have a water pump too ?
The Impeller Pushes water To the Engine.....<br />The outdrive Drains itself when in the Down position.......<br />Don't forget the Hose going from the outdrive To the engine..... You'll see where it goes in through the transom, up-under the motor to the Tstat housing or waterpump......
