winterizing a boat

I'm new to this winterizing thing, once an engine is winterized can it still be driven? sorry if that's a stupid question. thanks

It depends on what you call winterizing. Some call draining the cooling system winterizing, I think of winterizing like THIS

Yes, you will need to rewinterize if all you do is drain it, and you would need to refog it.

NO. There are block and manifold drains. Best left open for winter.

If you close them and use the boat, the whole process has to be repeated.
