I was wondering what the best way to winterize a Fling is. It got the 115HP Turbojet in it. Is there a simple way to pump anti-freeze into the system. Do I run it while pumping it in or is just draining the petcocks good enough? ANy suggestions.

Re: Winterizing a Four Winns Fling

The procedure to winterize is first to start the engine after adding fuel stabilizer to the remaining fuel then to "Fog" the engine thru the carbs with a can of "Fogging Oil" while running.

Once completed the best bet is to drain the cooling system.
1994 and early 1995 models (90JEER, 115JEER and 90JEEO, 115JEEO models) have only one petcock and an additional hose which MUST be removed from a drain nipple per the owners manual and/or service manual.

Mid-year 1995 and later models (115TJEO, 115TJED, 115TJEU models) have 2 petcocks which must be drained per the owners manual and/or service manual.

Some folks have fixed up a bucket of anti-freeze and a bilge pump to pump it into the cooling system using the flushing device kit #437021.
It can work if you get it down pat but there are no written instructions on how to do this as far as we know.
