Store it vertical, change the lower unit oil (in case of any water intrusion during the season), run Stabil through your last tank of fuel, and (in my opinion optional.....) drain carbs and fog the motor.
You can buy a fogging spray at most local automotive stores I believe you remove the plugs and give a spray in the cylinders and turn the motor over? Or well running spray into carbs you'll notice it start running bad.... however thats the process I think. Depending on where you live I know where Iam it gets below -30C (-22F) so I actually run some RV/Marine antifreeze through the motor before storage.
